Training and Support


BBA’s North Queensland farm is its Technology Centre, training school, brood stock holding facility  

Research and Development facility, providing back to base international operations management and online training and support

Rapidly developing to an internationally recognised Aquaculture group by 2010 under the leadership of Geoff Orpin and Cynthia Taylor its technology now spans many countries and continents with associated R&D and manufacturing facilities.

Ms Taylor BBA’s  training Director is responsible for commissioning and training of staff  both in Australia at Bemerside and in many countries as to operational procedures and Standard Operating Practices.  

 Languages are overcome by showing the trainees ‘hands on’ training rather than by words to which they  learn very quickly.

Daily work sheets are prepared in advance and emailed  back to respective home country offices for translation and returned  in readiness for  each day of  ongoing training

 Ms Taylor, is Level 111 Aquaculture Certified, trainer providing Certified Aquaculture training internationally and at BBA’s Queensland Bemerside farm in association Queensland TAFE.
